Sony unveils the first 4K resolution projector



Sony introduced the VPL-VW1000ES, the world's first projector witch supports the analysis of 4K (4096 × 2160), that is twice the resolution of 1080p. This particular projector, indeed, assumes the automatic conversion of SD and HD video in 4K resolution bringing a new dimension to the home cinema term.


 Sony claims that viewers can sit close to the screen without affecting the video quality. At a distance of up to three times the height of the image viewers can enjoy excellent quality without the classic phenomenon of "screen-door effect" by which suffer most projectors.

Among the other features of the device include brightness 2,000 ANSI-lumens, 1.000.000:1 contrast, 2.1x zoom and view images from 60 to 300 inches diagonal. The 330W bulb has a lifespan from 2000 to 2500 hours. The projector supports, of course, 3D content-based active-shutter 3D glasses require recharging via USB. It has, finally, two ports HDMI, a mini D-sub port and a port on Ethernet. The price of the projector is $ 26,000.
