Samsung stops the production of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, to upgrade it to quad-core [Rumours]

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 last officially announced in MWC 2012, but within 45 days seem to stop its production, as Samsung has decided to upgrade to quad-core processor to keep up with competition.

The information from the website NetbookNews, stating that the codename for the quad-core Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is "Espresso", but gives no details about the characteristics of the processor (probably will be a Samsung Exynos).

In addition, Samsung will upgrade and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 to quad-core processor, so it's easy to bet that the Samsung Galaxy S III will have quad-core processor.

Finally, noting that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 will continue to run on dual-core processor.
