Mozilla officially advocates against CISPA

We reported a few days ago that the new bill called CISPA has great support from many area companies such as Google, Facebook, Intel, Oracle, Microsoft roundtrips and is expected to be submitted for approval in the U.S. Senate soon. This bill may force private companies and websites offering information about the user if requested by a government organization.

The Mozilla today, however, announce its statement on the Forbes opposition with this bill without, of course, not recognizing that they need better protection measures on a general basis. The Mozilla says CISPA has a broad and disturbing range of influence extends far beyond the Internet security and violate our privacy.

It's good to see companies and organizations of the size of Mozilla officially take place on such important issues that may forever change the way we use the Internet. We await with great interest the developments on the subject.
