Posterous acquired by Twitter

A short while ago announced the acquisition of the service from Posterous Twitter in a move that has caused much surprise in the technology press.


In a communication to the Posterous blog says the company is excited about this acquisition and eager to participate in a product with hundreds of millions into resonance.


As for the actual operation of the service Posterous Space will remain active without any change. If a change occurs that users will be notified promptly.


For users who would like to keep backup of the contents or transferred to another service will offer clear guidance in the coming weeks.


Has not been disclosed so far repaid but hopefully we will see great things in the future from the collaboration.
