Facebook Photos: Fullscreen in 2048 × 2048 resolution

Seeing services as Instagram and Pinterest gain immense popularity in a short period of time, Facebook has decided to move to a new upgrade (perhaps the largest to date) of the photo viewer function of the social network.

From now on Facebook users will be able to see the photos fullscreen, four times higher resolution than before (2048 × 2048). This means that we are dealing with more clean, crisp, good quality photos on Facebook than ever.

The photos can be enjoyed in full-screen at the maximum resolution possible, pressing the arrow in the upper right corner of the Photo Viewer, provided they have the latest version of your browser.

Finally, apart from the higher resolution photos, social network will soon provide a new tool for filtering content not published by your close friends. The new function 'See all Suggestions' be found in our 'Friends' and selecting it you can see the status updates of your closest friends.
