Power Felt, charge the cell with the heat of your body [Video]

Researchers at Wake Forest University have developed a new thermoelectric material called Power Felt that utilizes the heat of the human body to recharge cell phones and other devices.

Using carbon nanotubes, essentially exploits the difference in outside temperature that of the human body and converts heat into electricity last.

Currently, the Power Felt produces just 140 nanowatts energy, corresponding to about 1 millionths tisenergeiaspou using iPhone in idle mode. However, scientists conduct further research to dramatically improve the quality of fabric, hoping that soon will be available goa commercial use at a cost of just $ 1.
