Apple will pay 2 million fine for misleading ads

Apple will soon pay a fine of close to $ 2.21 million for misleading the public in advertising the new iPad in Australia, as reported in "The Australian". The Federal Court of Australia confirmed that Apple agreed to settle the case by the Competition and Consumer Protection in Australia, involving allegations of deceptive promotion of the new iPad as a 4G device when it could not connect to 4G networks in Australia. The Apple already has admitted its mistake by offering compensation to customers. The company faces similar accusations and in the United Kingdom and Sweden, which examines whether the new ads iPad device as 4G is misleading or not.
