Google plans to release the Game Center clone for Android [Rumor]




Google plans to release an application similar to Apple's Game Center for Android, according to various information, which the company considers vital for the emergence in the field of mobile gaming. The Game Center of Apple allows the users of iOS devices (and soon Mac devices with the upcoming Mountain Lion) to play with other players around the world along with performance information, leaderboards etc.


The corresponding implementation of Google is expected to be similar in operation and fully integrated social network with Google +. The application provides a centralized service for the toy market greatly simplifying the process for developers.


Android has been criticized recently by developers who believe that the fragmentation in the software and hardware as an obstacle to developing quality games on the platform of Google. On the other iOS traditionally proved far more profitable for developers to a recent survey shows that iPhone users spend five times more money on games from users Android.
