Sony will proceed in 10,000 layoffs for the company's turnaround

Sony, after the forecast for the fourth consecutive annual loss will proceed to 10.000 job layoffs by reducing the potential of six percent worldwide. 5.000 of these positions will result from the reorganization of enterprises for the manufacture of chemical and small screens, as the newspaper Nikkei.

The redundancies are deemed necessary step to restore Sony to the fore in the midst of fierce competition from Samsung and Apple. The new company president, Kazuo Hirai, promised "hard" measures that will make the Sony out of the impasse.

However, many analysts believe that layoffs will not fix the problem the company is located in the core business, for example the field of television.
