The inventor of the Internet blames Facebook and Google for the data they gather

In a recent interview on the website 'The Guardian', the inventor of the Web, Tim Berners Lee, blames directly on Google and Facebook in terms of user data they collect.

Describing them as "silos for Internet", says the two companies have managed to trap in their nets across the Internet. What they do is to collect as much information as possible for users of social networks and then refuse to return them immediately as they request.

"One of the themes of social networks is that their companies are in possession of all these data, we did not ... There is no program that gives us access to all data held.

On any website where you upload your data, you must be sure that they will later be returned to you. In your position I would ask this very regularly, as often as I do back up my computer. Perhaps if our grandchildren will or will not see the photos based on our selection of these sites. "
