Pipe, a new application for transferring large files in Facebook


If you used to normally upload files to posts via Facebook, you will definitely know that there is a limit to the size. The problem is to solve the new application that promises Pipe users of social network easy and fast transfer of even the most large archives.

Pipe operates through drag-and-drop, while the transport is carried out through Facebook's servers but using the protocol RTMFP (Adobe Real Time Media Flow Protocol).

The authors chose the implementation of the Facebook platform because of the enormous popularity, hoping soon to be extended to Android. Pipe is currently in public beta and you can register here.
