Most touch-screen LCD technology using a type of coating, such as sensors, resistive. The othonestechnologiasCRT (Cathode-Ray-Tube) operate in a different way using a "weapon" and an electron ring magnets to steer the beam across the screen.

The inside of the screen is coated with phosphor shines when the electrons fall over. Using, then, phototransistor at the edges of the glove exploit this feature.
