Nintendo Network, the online service of the company for 3DS and Wii U!

Nintendo Network

The Nintendo pays particular attention to Gaming Wii U, after significant losses last year, and prepares its own online service along the lines of Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, as revealed by the company president, Satoru Iwata.

According to preliminary information, the service Nintendo Network will be available initially for users Nintendo 3DS and then extended to the Wii U, while offering digital content (whole game and not just add-ons), contests (eg Mario Kart 7) and lines of communication between users.

Even when released Wii U should support personal accounts, unlike the current system Nintendo WiFi Connection exclusively on the device registered.

Finally, Wii U controller will include NFC chip!
