Rovio acquired Futuremark Games Studio

After the impressive start of Angry Birds Space, which counted 10 million downloads in three days, Rovio Entertainment announced today the acquisition of Futuremark Games Studio. The studio had been like a software company for gaming benchmark, but was released a few titles for PC, iOS, Android and Xbox Live Arcade. The move will add to the team Futuremark Games Studio's potential Rovio, and allow to focus on Futuremark 3DMark benchmarking toolkit, a new version due out in 2012. Not disclosed financial details of the agreement, but certainly the Rovio has the ability to spend money for such a move.
