If you frequently use twitter you would have noticed at times that some people who were following suddenly stopped appearing in the timeline and you are unfollow, without your consent or even notice.
The bug was originally a source of misunderstanding among users of twitter, and now officially recognized by twitter, but in the circles of the social network was an "open secret" for many months.
The Jeremiah Owyang of TechCrunch wrote a representative of twitter and received the following reply:
