Like any big company that respects itself, so Twitter announced that it will start serving ads through their official applications for Android devices and iOS.
The good thing is that the timeline will show the user as promoted tweets and not as pop-up ads, while at the beginning will be visible only to a small number of users and especially to those who follow specific brands.
Until now, promoted tweets only appear when making search through the application, but with the tremendous evolution of Twitter (soon will surpass the 500 million users) and easy penetration in portable devices (55% of total traffic), came time to get some money.
