Sony has officially announced that the photo sharing cloud service Sony PlayMemories will "open its gates" on May 25, providing free 5GB to store photos and video to all users in possession of the camera or camcorder company.
Moreover, it is possible to use the service from holders Sony smartphones / tablets through the new application "PlayMemories Home", which is available for PC Windows / Mac. After the upload of material, the user can be shared online or to attend to some Sony Bravia TV or a digital photo frame, and hardware to synchronize with the PSP or PS Vita.
Unfortunately, the service will initially only available in 6 countries (USA, UK, Japan, Canada, Germany and France).
