According to a survey by Canaccord Genuity Apple and Samsung «receive" 95 percent of the profits in the area of mobile devices at least during the fourth quarter of 2011.
Earnings are a very important parameter with which to measure the success of a company in its field and it seems that Apple can rightly be proud of having 95 percent accounts for 80 percent of its own.
Things for other manufacturers is not as good as you can tell because most companies (using Android) can not distinguish from each other more intensifying competition between them while Apple enjoys the solitude of the peak.
The numbers are not encouraging, however, nor for other manufacturers that use different operating systems, like RIM, HTC and Nokia. Apple has managed to create a strong brand name superseding sales. Among the manufacturers only Android Samsung seems to stand out in the order that the Galaxy has the scene with strong sales.
