The acquisition of the share from Sony Ericsson which has been announced since last October, was approved by the EU in January, but just today was officially announced the completion of the agreement with Sony paying € 1.05 billion
From today, the brand Sony Ericsson will officially renamed Sony Mobile Communications and any new device will have only the name of Sony (we already know the Sony Xperia Ion and Sony Xperia S). However, the models are already available will retain the name Sony Ericsson.
