Amazon is preparing a Kindle ebook version with colored screen



According to latest information the Amazon will release a new version of the Kindle eBook reader later this year, with a color screen technology and capacitive. Citing sources from the distribution chain of the Amazon, the Digitimes reveals that the company has already started ordering the parts of the Kindle, which will release the second half of 2012. The new screens will build the company E Ink and TPK Holding Company.

Available the Amazon Cloud Drive application for Mac and Windows




Available from today is the formal implementation of Amazon Cloud Drive for Mac and Windows bringing finally allow users to access data and files from within an application instead of the browser. Users can now with a simple drag & drop to transfer files and folders to Amazon Cloud Drive, which will assume the background transfer.


The service Cloud Drive of Amazon does not yet offer the same features as other cloud syncing services like Dropbox, SugarSync, Google Drive Thread but it is a good first step for the company. You can download the application from the website of Amazon here.

Higher profits for developers from Amazon Appstore compared to Android Market!




A new statistical analysis of Distimo, reveals very interesting facts about the bad marketing of the Android Market, and proves that Android application developers earn more money from sales from Amazon Android Appstore, despite the official store of Google!




The analysis was compared with 110 applications available in both stores applications, and showed that 42 of these are the most profitable branch of Amazon, which is responsible for 28% of the total turnover of these applications.


At first glance, would you say the title of the post does not reflect reality, but if you think that the Amazon Android Appstore applications offered in the U.S. alone, with about 25,000 of the 400,000 total of the Android Market (globally), then the ratio is clearly in favor of.

The top-selling games for 2011 from Amazon

Amazon has published their lists of top-selling games for 2011 (digital and physical), with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 winning the first place in the normal, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution  making a surprise in the most digital!
